Since July 2008, 8 Slovak wooden churches coming from 16-18 century  have been joined to the UNESCO list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage:

- The Church of All Saints in Tvrdošín

- The Articular Protestant Church in Leštiny

- The Articular Protestant Church of Holy Trinity in       Kežmarok

- The Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Hervatov

- The Church of Archangel Michael in Ladomírova

- The Church of St. Nicholas in Bodruzal

- The Church of St. Nicholas in Ruska Bystrá

- The Articular Protestant Church in Hronšek
